Phase- II

The Govt. of India has approved for creation of 08 (eight) new Coastal P.Ss in the year 2011-12 at Junput, Mandarmoni and Nayachar under East Medinipur district and Diamond Harbour, Harwood Point, Gangasagar, Gobardhanpur and Jharkhali under South 24-Parganas district under Phase-II of the Coastal Security Scheme. It is also a five-year period scheme commencing from 01.04.2011. The details of other provisions approved are procurement and delivery of 07 (seven) 12Ton interceptor boats in addition to the financial assistance for purchasing of 08 (eight) Jeeps, 16 (sixteen) Motor Cycles and construction of 04 (four) Jetties in the 2nd Phase.
Sundarban Police District :-
(i)	Gangasagar CPS :-	The PS is functioning from new PS building.
(ii)	Gobardhanpur CPS :-	The PS is functioning from new PS building.
(iii)	Harwood Point CPS :-	The PS is functioning from new PS building.
Baruipur Police District :-
(i)	Jharkhali CPS :-	The PS is functioning from new PS building.
Diamond Harbour Police District :-
(i)	Parulia CPS :-	The PS is functioning from hired PS building.
Purba Medinipur:-
(i)	Mandarmani CPS :-	The PS is functioning from new PS building.
(ii)	Junput CPS :-	The PS is functioning from hired PS building.
(iii)	Nayachar CPS :-	The PS is functioning from new PS building.
